Cargado carries portable multi-device chargers and accessories for the active person. They came to me with issues acquiring new customers online, and hired me to create an online presence that attracts and retains customers.

Problems + Opportunities

It became clear that users couldn’t differentiate between Cargado products and the other portable chargers already on the market. Users were not aware of all the products’ features.

In order to solve this problem the information hierarchy within the site and the user flow needed to change. Social media existed as an entry point to purchasing a product. However, their Facebook and Instagram profiles didn’t support alerting customers of new products and promotions.

But why does any of this matter?

  1. Cohesive messaging and product knowledge increases likelihood a customer will choose Cargado over its competitors

  2. The risk of confusion and unhappy customers decreases when information is organized and easily available.

  3. Creating a user flow for a customer’s purchase reduces the time needed to develop business processes

Technical Approach
